As a rapidly growing industry, GYROTONIC® instructors are able to find teaching positions worldwide. Medicine now employs these programs for rehabilitation and injury prevention, recognizing that they provide neuromuscular re-education for those with injuries, disease, and mobility concerns.

UPCOMING TRAININGS:

GYROTONIC® PRE TRAINING

Fees: $1050 ($850 plus $200 studio fee)

Dates: To be announced

Times: Fridays 1pm-6pm, Saturdays & Sundays 10am-3:30pm  

Prerequisite: Prior experience with the GYROTONIC® Expansion System and participation in at least 10 private sessions.
Course Description: This 6-day, 20 – 28 hour course is the first step in training and certification in the GYROTONIC® EXPANSION SYSTEM. Upon completion and with approval of the Master Trainer, the student is qualified to take the Foundation Teacher Training.

GYROTONIC® FOUNDATION TEACHER TRAINING

Fees: $1800 ($1500 plus $300 studio fee)

Dates: 2022 – To be announced
Prerequisite: Completion of the GYROTONIC® Pre-training program.
Course Description: This 12-day course consists of intensive training and learning of the exercises and underlying principles using the Pulley-Tower Combination Unit. After completion students begin their apprenticeship period and may start teaching privately or in GYROTONIC® studios.

GYROKINESIS® FOUNDATION TEACHER TRAINING

Fees: $1150 ($950 plus $200 studio fee)
Pre-requisite: On the first day of the Foundation Course, the student must present to the Master Trainer the Pre-Training Qualification Agreement that has been signed by both the Pre Trainer and the student in order to gain entry into the Foundation Course.
Course Description: The first part of the Training each day consists of a non-disruptive execution of an entire Level I Class according to the Level 1 Exercise Manual. The GYROKINESIS Master Trainer will conduct the morning class. During the second part of the Training each day, the student focuses on refining each movement according to GYROKINESIS Basic Principles. When the student takes the role as teacher, she/he will be required to demonstrate and guide a fellow student through an entire series of exercises and be asked to reinforce the correct execution of breathing patterns synchronized with the corresponding movement. Verbal instruction and physical guidance will be required in the teaching process.

GYROKINESIS® SUPERVISED APPRENTICE COURSE

Fees: $500 ($350 plus $150 studio fee)
Pre-requisite: Complete the Foundation Teacher Training.
Course Description: The Apprentice must teach at least 15 GYROKINESIS classes after successful completion of the Foundation Course prior to undertaking supervised hours.

GYROKINESIS® CERTIFIED TRAINER UPDATE

Fees: $500 ($350 plus $150 studio fee)
Level 1 Certified Trainers are required to complete a 3-day, minimum of 4 hours per day, Certified Trainer Update Course once every two years. The Master Trainer will notify GYROTONIC Headquarters once the Update Course has been completed. Once completed Headquarters will contact Trainers to finish the License Renewal process.

LEG EXTENSION UNIT COURSE

Fees: $750 ($550 plus $200 studio fee)
Pre-requisite: GYROTONIC Level 1 Trainer
In this 6-day, 30-hour course, GYROTONIC Trainers learn to apply the GYROTONIC principles to exercise on the Leg Extension Unit.

Teacher Training Programs require a deposit to guarantee your space in these courses. Students are considered enrolled upon receipt of their deposit. Remainder of Fee is due on the first day of the program.
